Upping the fitness ante

Had you seen me a few months ago you would have noticed that I’d become a lazy lass.  It was cold outside so I went on an exercise hiatus. The temptation to stay in bed was just too strong. Ahh yeah, we’ve all been there…

Fortunately a few weeks ago I managed to spur on my inner exercise spirit and get back into moving my body. And yes, as soon as I did there was a positive and noticeable change in both my mood and energy. It was a needed reminder that working out is not only good for the body but also good for the soul.

Avid readers and Instagram followers will know that I currently do a boot camp down on Sydney’s Northern Beaches three mornings a week. When I moved to Mosman, I tried a new location but there’s just something about the beach and sun rising over the ocean that has me – it’s so blissful and calming. I find my days started with exercise and the beach are my best.

So the other day when I was approached to become an ambassador for fitness platform KFit, I was intrigued. I love my boot camp sessions but I also love trying new exercises and classes and this opportunity seemed a little too good to pass on.  Originating from South East Asia, KFit is a monthly membership platform that gives users access to hundreds of gyms, fitness studios and activities. It’s currently available in Sydney and Melbourne.

Over the next few weeks I’m going to be putting KFit through its paces and testing out some classes that I’ve never done before. My goal is try all the wacky and new exercise fads out there to let you know if they’re any good. To keep me on track I’ve enlisted the help of my fitness buddy Tash Heniuk from @EatTheRainbow to join me. I’ll let you know how we go.

If you’re interested in checking KFit out, you can download the app here on either iOS or Android.
